Flat water, thermal wind almost every day and sunsets over the salt pans that will leave you speechless. This June the club heads to Sicily: one week at Lo Stagnone (Marsala), one of the most beautiful lagoons in the Mediterranean, to ride together, eat the way Italians do and end each day watching the sunset with friends.
We’ll stay at a small resort right on the lagoon: step out of your room, rig your kite and launch straight from the accommodation. No car, no transfers, no missed sessions.
Because the resort sits right on the spot, it’s in high demand in June: the sooner we book, the better.
Lo Stagnone is one of the best places in the world to learn from zero: waist-deep water, no waves and steady wind. Beginners can take a course at the school. If you already ride, it’s perfect for progressing, freestyle or just enjoying the flat water. Fancy something different? Puzziteddu, an open-sea spot, is 45 minutes away.
Sicily doesn’t end at the lagoon. We can visit Marsala, Trapani or Erice, or take a ferry (or a boat) to the Egadi Islands. And there are always the salt pans at sunset, which are out of this world.
As a club, we keep costs as low as possible: nobody makes a profit, we’re just friends organising a trip together.
Estimated price: around €500 per person (7 nights).
What’s included?
Not included:

If we want to explore the area during the week, a car is handy. We’ll organise it depending on group size.
The trip needs a minimum of 10 people to go ahead, with a maximum of 20–25.
Deadline: the sooner, the better. On November 30th we will confirm the rooms with the hotel based on the number of people who have paid their deposit. We cannot guarantee a place for bookings after November 30th, as the hotel will release our pre-booking.
